The Yeon Building
The Yeon is a century-old Portland landmark. For a brief time, it was the tallest building in Oregon, and home to Woolworths and B. Dalton’s books.
Urban Renaissance Group recently restored the Yeon’s interior, with modern updates that pay homage to the building’s history.
Our piece for the Yeon has a meditative quality, the camera floating through hallways and corridors, glimpsing briefly at details, but all the while moving up through the building to suites on the upper floors.
The soundtrack is rich and sumptuous, echoing the luscious textures of the newly restored building.
